Fairly clean economical hotel with accommodating staff. Brand-new room with TV, a comfortable bed plus couch and varied and plentiful breakfast to start the day. Marvellous location in thatvsoecific area, nice pool. Also - close to rail station and restaurants.
Really bad views from the window.

We were very pleased with the updated room with 90inch sofa. The location was marvellous - very close to a metro station, shopping and restaurants, many restaurants and the two DC airports.

Nice breakfast.
We booked and paid for a suite - 2 rooms. We were given a small oddly shaped single room next to a noisy mechanical closet. Will never stay at an Embassy Suites again OR use Booked.net. The area is heavily congested with traffic.

nice hotel like complimentary drinks
they overcharged me. I stayed 2 nights when I checked in , they did not have my room, because i was not in their system hotel software.I had my confirmation from Booked.net they did not. After 10 minutes they gave a room. Problem was when i checked out, I asked to send my receipt to my email. when i checked my email back at home i was overcharged. my booking for 2 days was $291.48 they charged me $652.92. I called them right away, they say they are going to fix it. 4 days after i called they still do not fix it!!

Complementary breakfast was wonderful! Full hot buffet and made to order omelettes! Location close to our planned activities and walking to the metro station!
The pool was much smaller than pictured, very crowded, and they ran out of clean towels. The pull out couch could've used a new mattress, it was pretty thin.

The indoor pool was awesome with plenty of towels, and I loved the clean and spacious suite we stayed in. The happy hour drinks were a nice touch, and the complimentary coffee options were a win! Eric, one of the staff members, made sure we felt right at home by anticipating our needs.

The room was great. Comfortable bed and hot shower.
The rate I was charged was $28 more per night than I reserved with Booked.net. Wonder why their rate was different than what I reserved?

The young gentleman who checked us in was personable and very nice to talk to. He knows the area well!
The elevators are (1) way too slow and (2) there are far too few of them to handle the traffic of the hotel. On one trip it took us FOUR attempts and 7 minutes to actually get into a non-packed-to-capacity elevator, and we were on the 5th floor! The buffet part of the breakfast was also terrible. The pancakes were made out of sourdough and were cold, and the sausage links were bland and ice-cold.

Front Desk Staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Line for breakfast was extremely long at omlet making station. Juice bar closed before 10:30 am.

The pool was fantastic, it was mostly empty. The location is convenient to explore washington, and the made-to-order omelettes for breakfast hit the spot!

We loved the social hour in the evening, it was a nice touch, the breakfast buffet was unsurpassed. There were so many positives.
Movie rental price is ridiculous. When I checked out, the bill was 157.00 more that was sent to me on my reservation and the staff was not accomodating. When I presented my printed reservation, they finally complied. This was very disturbing and a bit shocking given the price we were already paying. We booked through Booked.net.
